Italian-Style Beef Sandwich

What You Need

  • 5 slices Sara Lee® Angus Roast Beef; very thinly sliced.
  • 1 Italian roll; split.
  • 2 tbsp hot giardiniera.
  • 3 beef bouillon cubes.
  • 3 cups water.
  • 3 cloves garlic; peeled and crushed.
  • ½ tsp garlic powder.
  • ¼ tsp onion powder.
  • ¼ tsp dried basil.
  • ½ tsp dried oregano.
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes.
  • ½ tsp black pepper.

How to Make It

  1. Bring bouillon cubes, water, garlic cloves, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, dried oregano, red and black pepper to a simmer in a small saucepan.
  2. Stir to be sure bouillon is fully dissolved.
  3. Add the roast beef for approximately 30 seconds to one minute to warm it through.
  4. Spoon juice onto bread.
  5. Pile into roll.
  6. Top with hot giardiniera.
