Spicy Sweet Cuban Sandwich

What You Need

  • 5-6 slices Sara Lee® Honey Ham
  • 2-3 slices Sara Lee® Baby Swiss Cheese
  • 1 high-quality French roll; split
  • ¼ cup spicy pickles; chopped
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1-2 tbsp butter


How to Make It

  1. Spread dijon mustard on bottom half of roll.
  2. Top with cheese, ham and pickles.
  3. Melt butter in a medium cast iron frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Place sandwich in pan and using another heavy pan, press sandwich flat and cook, while applying pressure until golden brown.
  5. Approximately 2-3 minutes per side.
