Turkey, Pesto & Mozzarella Panini

What you Need

24 oz.
Sara Lee® Cracked Pepper Turkey Breast
1 loaf
focaccia bread, sliced in half, lengthwise
8 slices
mozzarella cheese
10 slices
ripe roma tomatoes (2), 5 slices per tomato
4 tbsp.
balsamic vinegar reduction or glaze
2 tbsp.
butter
As needed,
sea salt
As needed,
cracked black pepper

How to Make It

STEP 1
Preheat griddle oven at 300°.
STEP 2
Slice each focaccia half crosswise in the middle, spread with butter, place in sheet pan and warm in oven for 3 minutes.
STEP 3
Remove focaccia and place each piece crust side down.
STEP 4
Evenly spread the pesto on each open side of bread halves.
STEP 5
On bottom half of focaccia, place turkey evenly to cover all of the surface.
STEP 6
Place tomato slices from one short end of bread to other short end in an accordion pattern.
STEP 7
Repeat with mozzarella slices, 4 per half focaccia.
STEP 8
Drizzle balsamic reduction over cheese on both halves.
STEP 9
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
STEP 10
Add the top half of bread onto the sub.
STEP 11
Place 4 toothpicks in quarter quadrants of each half of sub and cut each half into 4 even servings.
