1.Lay the bread slices side by side and evenly spread the jam over both slices
2.Place half of the cheese on the bottom slice. Fold the ham onto the cheese
3.Fan out the apple slices evenly over the ham. Make sure your slices are very thin so the apple will soften while cooking
4.Finish with the remaining cheese and place bread slice on top
5.Brush the butter on the top and bottom and place in a skillet on medium-low heat
6.Cook on each side for about 3-5 minutes
7.Once the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, remove it from the skillet
